Typically (our) services start with determining and assessing the degree of maturity
of a management or quality system. By assessing the maturity of different aspects
of a system, it becomes clear what their strengths and weaknesses are, and also
where improvements are needed.
Typically a maturity model is used as a starting point and benchmark for comparison.
A maturity model can be viewed as a set of structured levels that describe how well
the behaviors, practices and processes of a system can reliably and sustainably
produce required outcomes.
A maturity model provides thus a theoretical continuum along which process maturity
can be developed from one level to the next. Skipping levels is not allowed/feasible.
It help to assess the ‘AS-IS’ situation and pinpoints where the ‘TO-BE’ aspirations
of management is to be found. A Roadmap will be drawn up to guide you there. That
is the reason to have a Maturity Assessment.
Branswijck has the experience to use and align theoretical models to a framework
that tells you in your words where you are, where you want to be and how you can
get there. That is our strength.

Branswijck Certifications’ approach to measure systems and propose guidance is based
on interviews and its own expertise. The basis for its methodology can be found
within frameworks such as CMM, CMMI, CobIT, ...
Through interviews the following information is collected:
- the strategic business targets, together with their importance to the business and
dedication with which they will be pursued, for the short to middle long term (next
5 years);
- the perceived actual Maturity level, the desired maturity level and the estimated
effort involved or cost to obtain this for each system.
